Scholarship programs for Veterans and Wounded Troopers

Take time to pass the information onto our comrades in arms. This school has been providing resident and online programs to military members and families for years.

" Daddy, why is that girl wearing your Helmet?

"No reason Baby, I was just trying to do the right thing when nobody was looking"

My Kevlar and vest did smell good for a couple of days......

ADMINISTRATOR'S NOTE: See comments for the good CSM's explanation of just who this was.

Dang CSM you sure look different! Changed somehow. I can't quite put my finger on it.

Yes. Do tell who that person is and why letting her wear your stuff was the right thing.

O.K. here was the deal. We got one of the USO cheese cake visits I heard my Cousin who was in Vietnam talk so much about. Hooter girls actually came and visited the troops. JVB (Joint Visiors Bureau) came to me one morning and asked if I could provide their COBs (Civilians on the Battlefield)with some armor so they could go downrange and visit some FOBs (Forward Operating Base). I walked into the BDOC (Base Defense Operations Center) and explained our visitors problem. I explained that if the Troopers gave up their armor, they wouldn't have any if we were attacked. The ladies were with me and I got about have way through my risk assesment before we were weighed down with all the troopers gear. Of course my soldiers worked very hard in the fitting of said armor. This young COB got mine.
