Waiting for the other shoe to drop
A few minutes ago, I looked around my desk and realized that I am almost totally caught up for the moment. So, when will the next crisis land in my in-box?

Ah, the false peace of February. Enjoy it while it lasts, my friend, for soon comes the ides of March!
My advice for days like that is always: Sneak out and go home while you can. Any minute you're going to get a phone call or a visit that you will regret. Your only defense is to not be there when it comes.... :)
