How to Succeed at a Warfighter EX

I have a very simple equation that I follow to succeed despite long, disorienting shifts at Fort Leavenworth...

Mmmmmm....coffee...we had Starbucks on the Carney during UNITAS 06, very nice. You did have that annoying caffeine buzz throughout the afternoon...

Dude. I live in Leavenworth. I can hit the Barista's for you.

Or replenish your pogeybait.

"pogeybait"? I guess I don't get it because over at The Castle of Argghhh I am a "normal". LOL

I'm not a coffee drinker, can I still be here? Starbucks has really delicious vanilla chai tea.

our week was made the other day when the new DRIVE THRU Starbuck's opened 2 miles (actually 2.1) from the front door -- and conveniently on our way to any place else we have to be...AND it opens at 5AM (sigh). Life is good.

Yo, Mom - there's a Barista's (same same drive through Starbucks) *across* the street from where Major John is working, and two blocks *up* the street from where I work.

Major John - how long d'you have left in the warfighter? Drop me a note... who knows I might be able to arrange a blood thickener delivery.

Mr. Arrrrgh,

We just finished - back to Illinois tomorrow. We'll be back in May of '08. I'll have to coordinate better next time.
