Mr. Sadr's people plunked a dud-rocket through my buddy's hooch too. Good thing a lot of those fools got killed/detained when our guys took down Sadr City and Basrah. Glad you made it...yikes.
LT - the dudes that shot this one kept it up - but they got careless and came out the same time, two days in a row. Got popped by an Apache.
The guys that tried to fill in afterwards never got as close, and the 1st IA QRF blew them away a few days later when they cleaned out Hiyyaniyah, etc.
Wow! That beats me. One landed about 100m from my office tent. It wasn't a dud though.
