Zin Ghar - looking out over the koh-e-Safi
MSG Morris, 33rd ASG (incidentally, a man with a work ethic so strong it would make Hortio Alger blush in shame) looks out from the Zin Ghar toward the koh-e-Safi. We never had anything good come out of the koh-e-Safi area. Smugglers, rockets fired at our base, and some darn poor villages it was hard to get to in order to help. Some of the better Afghan Militia we dealt with got into more than one fight out there...UPDATE: Man, I love google Earth!
