Memorial Day 2009
It means a bit more this year, because CSM Bones has been in Afghanistan and lost some Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines in his Task Force.
Amidst the barbeques and mattress sales, please remember the Fallen on Memorial Day. For they strove to be (reminding me of what I heard one of my ministers say Sunday) free of guilt in life, free of fear in death.

Dear Adjustable Citizen-Soldier & Friend,
A lawyer and a CSM, there are unusual possibilities with this combo.
I just wanted to assure you on Mem Day that not everyone has forgotten or take your efforts for granted. I talk to soldiers at airports and have found that w/o exception they are aware that they have the full support of the American people. if u catch the Natl Mem Day concert there was an emphasis on wounded.
Best of luck to you and your units

While I said thank you to as many as I could, forgive me for not saying it here.
Please know how appreciated you all are and how often each and every one of you are thought of and the prayers that said to wish you well.
Stay safe, stay well, come home soon.
