Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.
I'll be in the corner with my hair shirt and board, flogging myself.
I am heartily sorry for falling short on this assignment.
I'm planning on seeing you Sunday morning, Major John. Maybe we can discuss this over a burrito?
Hmmm...burrito time.
I'm in!
Hey, don't defer to my effort. Yours is more personal and clever and colorful and stuff.
But as of the beginning of November, I am off to mobilization station, and then to Iraq... ahem, the Inner Prop could pick up our end...
I think I'm feeling faint. My blood/burrito level is low.
Seems like I'm going to be very busy end picking up, er, ing in the next year.
Don't let any of that nonsense get to you - We heard the same *#$% from Mr. Lynn last time we deployed. Naught came of it. Anything you get done (mostly as a facilitator - not as a worker bee) will be more than last time.
going off topic for a moment MJ, I saw your comments to Bobby Calvin, maybe you could tell me after the guard was told to let him pass, any possibility there was a (or several) weapon(s) drawing a bead on him from that point on until he was determined to only be harmless? (except to himself when he blogs)
Whomever was on overwatch may have had their weapon trained upon Mr. Calvan, or in his general direction until he was let pass.
Thanks for the reply to the o.t. question Major John. I was trying to figure out if Mr. Calvan had any clue as to how much danger he might have placed himself in with his arrogance. I guess, seeing how the situation played out, it could be best described by a "motivational" poster at grouchy old cripples place.
