On the Road to War
So, I have been notified that I will be mobilized this Fall. I will be going to Iraq to work with and help train the Iraqi Army. For OPSEC reasons, I can't be specific about dates and locations - but I will try to keep this site running as a kind of window into the process of getting ready to go. Once I am in Iraq, I will see what kind of access I have to the Net, and if I can blog my experiences.

I'm going on record here in the public, on the "big" stage and say that I'm going to do my best to try to make sure your FRG is active and effective.
I'm feeling a little guilty right now.
Guilty? For what? I am going to retire when I get back (hopefully as an LTC) That way I can put my rocking chair on the porch and make sure people address me as "Cuhn'l" (using an appropriate Kentucky accent).
I'll be languishing in school while you work for a living. Let me know where I can help.
I hope you will be doing good work out there. we here too much negative behaviour of US troops and we need people to set a good example out there.
