Hangin' out in Charikar
November 2004. CSM Bones and I have stopped for a bit - right off the traffic circle in the heart of Charikar, Parwan Province's capital. I just rediscovered this clip, so, lucky all of you - here it is.
A Risk Managing Citizen-Retired Soldier, He Who Hunted Heads, A hoopy e-learning frood who is also a generative artist/teacher, A PMP'n Migratory Executive, A Running Dog Capitalist/Economist, A CSM who has had a Kipling Experience and an Author/Prop - Yummy as Krispy Kreme and as strong as Dunkin' Donuts Coffee!

Wow. That's nearly indistinguishable from the traffic circle in Kabul on Jalalabad Road.
Just needs a big Roshan bill board in the background.
Isn't that one larger? The one in Charikar has the ubiquitous Ahmad Shah Masood billboard, rather than Roshan. Of course, the billboard is right over a kebab place that we ended up nicknaming "Masood Burger"...
