I DID IT! I DID IT AGAIN!
Last Thursday I finished my SECOND NaNoWriMo book!
My book is called Guya Principal and it's a comedy. The story is about a moon-sized blob of dark matter that rubs up against the Earth and because the blob has an intelligence, it forms its own kind of Earth.
Go to Illini6 and let me know what you think.

Oh no you dont! I want my fully FINISHED version...
I read Chapter 1, and am very curious to see where you go with this. You certainly don't lack for imagination, and I think the parrot is a great gimmick.
Please leave word here when you've posted the next chapter, and hearty congratulations on meeting that contest deadline. I hope you're a winner again this year!
Thank you Anon.
It's encouragement like that that will help me through the painful and difficult editing process that is even harder than writing sometimes.
If only everyone would provide support like that in a public forum I think there would be a flowering of literature in this country.
You know, some authors believe their work is never done and continually edit it even after it has been published. Kafka even went so far as to order his publisher to burn everything he had that had not yet been published. It's a good thing he didn't or we wouldn't have classics like "The Metamorphosis."
If you would like a complete copy of the book just let me know. I can't post all of it or it would be considered published, but I can let a few people read it individually.
I'd prefer to read the posted teasers, and buy the work when it's published, unless you're desperate for help with editing.
(I did wonder at the use of "principal" as opposed to "principle" in the title, though this may become clear if you post another selection from the book.)
Mastering this challenge says a great deal about your character. As distinguished authors tell us, primary secrets for success are a good imagination, attention to detail, and, above all, a willingness to write and write and write.
