In a shocking twist (I'm shocked, I tell you! Shocked
!) the man that would replace Mr. Stroger on the County Board - Stroger's son is going to run for the Presidency - is possibly considering his own daughter as a replacement
in the Chicago City Council.
So a man too ill to legibly sign his own resignation is to be replaced on the board by a man who will seat his own daughter in the vacancy he leaves - all in anticipation of contesting the Board presidency with the son of the first man. Got it?
