Well, at least no one will be shooting at you in New Orleans - barring the occasional looter. I'm worried that dinner in the French Quarter also may not be what it once was. Good luck!!

i'd heard some units up your way are being mobilized. i've also got a friend from CA that will be on his way soon. another in NE that's on warning.

So much for the "you won't be mobilized for years - we have plenty of other units ahead of you".
Ah - this is different. This is at home. It's not like we are being sent to Kosovo or such.
