Peace Day in Afghanistan
"It's crazy, but apparently the Taliban sent out an email saying they were going to abide by it if we were, and we definitely are," he said.
"It's a great day to show Afghans exactly what peace is like and how their everyday life would be if they just booted out the bad guys."

This is really great. Do you think we can do "Peace Year" next?
I certainly do not believe in peace at any cost, but this seemed to be, for most places, a day of peace at no cost. Let's do more of that.
I saw in the paper that this was not honored by the Taliban, but I suppose their communications are so diffuse that it would be hard to let "everyone" know anything.
How I wish it's not only one day to celebrate peace in Afghan. Although I know that it is quite impossible to happen.
