John,
For the life of me I cannot understand how the Clintonites and the current Dem talking pointers can repeatedly and incessantly assert with a straight face that the reason North Korea has Nukes now is that the Bush Administration insisted on multi-party, rather than bi-lateral talks with psycho boy. It was demonstrated that bi-lateral talks failed. He lied to us and did not live up to his agreement and continued to develope nuclear technology unabated. Why would China or Russia, the only people in the world with leverage, care if Lil' Kim lied to or cheated on an agreement that was only with the USA? How can any American, let alone any American in a position of authority, fail to understand such a simple precept of diplomacy? How? Have they all been sipping off the same majic potion and chasing the White Rabbit? Do they really think that Clinton's policy was successful? How much value in food and oil did we provide to him during the course of Clinton's failed deal? How much nuclear material was developed? And I'm sure there were some undisclosed kick-backs too (as there always seem to be when dealing in food and oil). I'm outraged! We studied Clinton's failed diplomacy effort in CGSC over three years ago as a pretty plain vanilla example of what doesn't work. Now, every Democrat who can find a microphone is an instant expert on diplomacy and proclaims up is down is unison.
I'm sorry. You got that wrong.
He's so ronery.
You're welcome. ;-) Thanks for reposting that picture!
