Update from Belle Chase

The Inner Prop and I made it to JRB Belle Chase (a former Naval Air station 8 miles south of New Orleans). It is hot and humid, to put it mildly, but we will make do.

The logistics build up is impressive to see. All 4 services and the Coast Guard are here and working. The above is a quick shot of the staging area we waited at by the flight line before moving out to our permanent area.

Our computer connection to the outside world is a bit shaky - so I don't know how often I will be able to update everyone.

  3. CSM - you'd never believe who just landed at Belle Chase...the 213th ASG. I ran into CPT Barrett the old Bagram JAG. They were quite surprised that we had been called up...

Hey, when you care enough - send the best!

It looks like the US Military has to bail out incompetent bureaucrats once again.

Watch out for snakes and politicians!
