Update from Belle Chase III

Home, for now. I just keep my gear in the tent, and sleep outside on a cot with mosquito netting. Cools down about 10pm or so - at least enough to sleep. Our site is between a creek and a parking lot, since this base is just bursting with units, supplies and equipment.

Well thank God you're on dry land... Drash tents! Keep your "Skin-so-soft" handy - I hear those bug-gers are HUGE.

Thank you again for all you are doing ... and God Bless.

  5. We were closer to the BAYOU but our First Sergeant wanted to keep us safe from gators so he moved us 20 feet closer to the road.

Now I sit in my cot and taunt the gaors.

  6. I taunt the GATORS not the gaors.

The gaors I stay away from, but they find me, they come from that nameless place and find me, they find me, find me, find...
