Medal of Honor

This post at Mudville Gazette tells of a late, but most deserved, award of the Congressional Medal of Honor. As a soldier, it is quite humbling to read about someone like this. You look at yourself and ask, "could I do anything even close to that if the situation arose?" Honestly, I am not sure.

I came across this blog by accident but I do love reading it. My husband is in the Army (in Iraq right now w/ 101st ABN) and I enjoy reading soldier blogs. Just thought I'd say hi!

  3. As a former USAF asset I have a chair-ial achievement medal with several "coffee and donuts" devices.

I am always in awe of MoH wearers. Hell, even those men who've been nominated deserve our special recognition. The risks they took and the personal sacrifice they made on behalf of all of us are simply incredible.
