I had never tried to do permanent harm to anyone in my life - Until I got to Afghanistan and saw what the Taliban (and to a lesser extent, the HIG) had done. I would have killed anyone of them I could have...I am not sure I like that reaction, but I would have anyway.
To know them is to abominate them.
