Forgotten Comrade
I am so ashamed. I totally forgot to mention one of my comrades yesterday. You see, one of the hardest things to do in the military is to cover for someone in the short term. When I went on two weeks leave in December of 2004, I left a very tough and able officer in my stead. Here's to you pal!
He seems to have had some muzzle awareness issues. I hope you kept him inside the wire.
ReplyDeleteTrue, his weapons handling could use improvement - but he did some awfully good work with the Governor of Parwan Province, and kept an eye on a couple of projects in Kapisa Province for me.
